Robert Gant

After Chris Potter left Queer As Folk at the end of Season 1, he was replaced by the much-hotter and evetually-proud-and-out gay man Robert Gant. His character, Ben Bruckner, was also much more interesting compared to Potter's control-freak Dr. Dave. He played hunky Carnegie Mellon University professor Ben Bruckner who has fallen madly in love for smitten comic geek Michael ( played by the cutie Hal Sparks ). Ben is smart, sexy, dorky, buff and warm. He's too perfect until he reveals that he's HIV positive. This condition has caused so much drama on and off camera for Queer As Folk but everything turned up well in the end. Ben and Michael showed the world, gay or straight, that sexuality and HIV-status are no barriers for two people who truly love each other.

I miss Bobby Gant, but the good news is that he'll be back as a guest in CSI, as Eva Mendes' co-star in the movie "Live," and as Chad Allen's leading man and co-producer for "Save Me." I can't wait to get a copy of these works, until then, here are some pics to satisfy our appetite for Robert Gant. Sometimes, we have questions that we just can't ask even with our own friends. However, there are other people willing to hear you out. I've been a fan of Dra. Margarita Holmes and Dan Savage, and I'm liking the new read I've discovered from Alvin Tan. Sometimes funny, at times bitchy, and often frank, their columns are straight to the point and very informative. Thank God for people like them, in a world full of religious nitwits and right-wing misinformation, Dra. Holmes ( pictured far above ), Dan ( pictured below Margie Holmes )and Alvin ( sorry, no available pic yet ) are like a shining beacon of hope and enlightenment that guides the gay soul especially during dark times. On a lighter note, I've featured Derrick Davenport several weeks ago, and I'm featuring him again because I've found more of his naughty pics ( the man is HUNG! ). More pics at Iason R*cks Riki!

Getting Drrrty with Grant Show

I almost didn't recognize Grant Show from Melrose Place, a little older with a new buzz cut. He looks very HAWT - I really go for the Daddy-type of guy ( as my friends in the office knows, right Papa Lee-nard? ). That clip came from new FX show, Dirt - which just wrapped it's first season with a Lesbian Lip-Locking from Courtney Cox and guest-star Jennifer Aniston. Grant Show's character is a huge closeted action and romantic-lead star, you know, like a certain Scientologist out there; and the blow-job recipient is the brother of Courtney's character - played by Will McCormack ( any relation to Eric? ).
