I love this guy; he's bright, smart, damn gorgeous and sexy as hell. He's also out and proud - he isn't afraid of the consequences of being truthful and honest in an industry built on creating an illusion. "People said I was crazy to come out, I'm sure I've lost roles and I've gained some roles. But I wouldn't change the decision. It's a sign of the times that we are having more men and women coming out early in their careers."He can act, and it seems he can play instruments ( musical instruments, not THAT, you perv! ), sing, and write screenplays. He helped form the boy band group 4Now, which performed around Canada and the United States and opened for acts including Destiny's Child, Black Eyed Peas and P!nk. The band released two recordings to date and is currently on hiatus. 4Now was noted to be different from most boy bands of the periods because they played their own instruments; Charlie played piano. You may have watched his other gigs before. He hosted for E! Television, NBC, OUTtv, here! TV, Pink TV, EGO, and Life Network on such shows as F.Y.E! in 2002, SpyTV in 2001, Bump! in 2005-2006 and Crash Test Mommy in 2004-2005.








He was featured in the mini-series Terminal City in 2005 and is currently shooting the movie A Four Letter Word, in post-production. His most famous role to date is probably that of Toby in Dante's Cove. He has also recently penned a screenplay, Mulligans, which is currently being filmed. "The father, who is in his mid-40s, has an affair with his son's best friend (David)," Charlie explains. "I'm finding that it's a theme right now, these gentlemen my father's age saying, 'You know what? Maybe I haven't lived my truth.'"

He owns now the character of Toby in Dante's Cove; his character has survived a lot on the show. His boyfriend is a dimwit closeted boyriend-turned-newbie-turned-slut boyfriend named Kevin, who is portrayed by the hottie Gregory Michael. Poor Kev was mind-controlled and whisked away by our fave Biatch Warlock, Ambrosius. One thing that bothered me early on, in their loves scenes, Toby always bottoms with Kevin topping him. That's normal for some but I honestly felt that roles like "tops" and "bottoms" are tired and indicates a lack of trust and some selfishness on the top guy's part. However, last season, a story was woven in to solve this and explain why Kevin sometimes acts dumber than a box of rocks. I'm glad Toby got to pop Kevin's cherry on the show! In his yournger years, he was kep hanging on to unrequited love by his "straight" bestfriend Adam ( Jon Fleming ). His mortal enemy on the show is an warlock who can cast spells that noone but other more knowledged witches can counter. he also has another bestfriend ( for a change, it's a lesbian - not a lovelorn straight girl with no life ) who is comparable to Akazukin Chacha ( if you don't know her, she's an anime character whose spells always backfires to comedic effect ). he's shown his ass and most of himself on the show ( no complaints, he can act nude all the time as far as I'm concerned ) but he has so far had only steamy love scenes with Gregory Michael...and these videos are HOT! I wish he'd also had steamy love scenes with Jon Fleming, too.
